Jack or Jill the Ripper?

Everybody has heard the story of the notorious Jack the Ripper, a serial killer who murdered 5 prostitutes and the notorious serial killer who stalked London's East End, butchering prostitutes and terrorizing the population, may not have been Jack but Jill the Ripper. Moreover, an Australian scientist has used swabs from letters supposedly sent to police by the Ripper to build a partial DNA profile of the killer. The results suggest that the person who murdered and mutilated at least five women from 1888 onwards may have been a woman.

                             

The opinion that Jack the Ripper might be a woman was one assumed by Inspector Abberline himself at the time of the killings. Abberline raised the theory in a conversation with his mentor, Dr. Thomas Dutton after the murder of Mary Kelly. Testimony given by Caroline Maxwell, who lived in the area, was central to the argument. Mrs. Maxwell testified to have seen Mary Kelly not once but twice several hours after doctors believe she had died. Mrs. Maxwell claims she saw Kelly speaking with a man outside the Britannia public house. Mrs. Maxwell vividly described the clothes she saw on the woman she believed to be Kelly that morning as a dark shirt, velvet bodice and a maroon-coloured shawl. Abberline had no reason to distrust this witness and she continued stick to the times and descriptions she had given.

The problem perplexed him, and he later approached Dutton about it, asking -  Do you think it could be a case not of Jack the Ripper but Jill the Ripper? Dutton answered that he believed it was doubtful, but that if it were a woman committing the crimes, the only kind capable of doing so would be a midwife.

everyone love Mr. Bean,but behind the character,there is a man name Rowan Sebastian Atkinson. Little bit of his background,he was born on 6 January 1955  in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK, to Ella May and Eric Atkinson. His father owned a farm where he grew up with his two older brothers, Rupert and Rodney. He attended Newcastle University and Oxford University where he earned degrees in electrical engineering.He is currently a British actor, comedian and screenwriter. 

Rowan Sebastian Atkinson is most famous for his work on the satirical sketch comedy show Not the Nine O'clock News, and the sitcoms Mr.Bean and Blackadder. He also has been listed as one of the funniest actors in British.One thing for sure,he is an intelligent person who have intelligent ways in delivering message indirectly to his audience. So, the audience eventually will learn something while enjoying his shows.

Salam readers, yesterday I've bought a book, 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus', which is a best seller book by John Gray, where this book tell us about most of common relationship problems between men and women are a result of fundamental differences between the genders. There are 13 chapters, and in each chapter, the author gave an understandable explanation and situation that always happened between both genders; men and women.

In my opinion,this book is a 'must-have' as it contains many suggestions for improving relationships between men and women through understanding the communication style and emotional needs of the opposite sex. As suggested by the title, the book asserts the notion that men and women are as different as beings from other planets, and that learning the code of conduct of the opposite sex is an essential value if both gender want to live in harmony atmosphere.

The concept of right brain and left brain thinking developed from the research in the late 1960s of an American psychobiologic Roger W Sperry. He discovered that the human brain has two very different ways of thinking.

The Right brain VS Left brain test – Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise? If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and if anti-clockwise then you use more of the left side of the brain.

Cool kids have no Facebook

The article 'All the cool kids are quitting Facebook' by Jenna Wortham, is an interesting writing as she labelled those who quitting Facebook as cool. Wortham is a technology reporter from The New York Time living in Brooklyn, is basically emphasized on the disadvantages of Facebook from her view. Little bit of history, Facebook is a free-access-social-networking website introduced last February 2004 whose founded by Mark Zuckerberg and friends. Besides that Facebook also a one-stop centre as it provide entertainment, information, communication, online shopping and many more. 

Recently, there are many issues regarding the privacy in Facebook. So for the users, the first thing to do is to ask yourself - Do you really trust Facebook to keep your private activities off your public timeline? If your answer is 'NO', by now you may quit your Facebook account. But if your answer is 'Yes', you are encourage to read this writing until the end. 


First of all, why we need privacy? Undoubtedly because we want only certain friends to access our certain informations. So how we can avoid privacy pitfall from happening to us? Don't worry, because luckily Facebook is a democracy tool that provides us the chance to  choose. Users like us can choose what we desire to share, what we do not need to impart, and what we desire to impart with chosen associates. Just click, click and click to set your privacy setting.

So now, in your mind, is there still any statements like these:

I prefer to keep a few of my "friends" out of my photo albums

I like to prevent a few "friends" from accessing my personal info

If there are, the best answer would be is to remove all of those so-called-friends!

Baby

Baby abandonment is becoming a trend to Malaysians' unmarried couple especially teenagers. Among the factors that contributed are lack of knowledge in sex things, lack of knowledge in religion, worried about public judgement and many more.

Baby is like the pearl and gem to married couple, but unfortunately not to the unmarried couple who think babies as burden/worthless item to them.  Unmarried woman and teenagers are normally involved in babies’ abandonment as they are lack of knowledge in sex things. Sex is known as taboo among Malaysians community, so this subject is not widely discuss. So baby abandonment usually started with unmarried couple making love with their partner and then the woman or the girl got pregnant. After the baby was delivered by their mother, this couple will abandoned their innocent baby by putting the baby at places like on the doorsteps, on the sidewalk and even in rubbish bins. So what happened to the baby? Base on the record from Ministry of Woman and Family, only a quarter of the babies who have been abandoned are found alive. Most all of the time, the babies were found dead due to many reasons such as eaten by stray animals and as we all know, the immune system of the newborn baby is still weak so it would not likely survived in such new  environment.

Lack of knowledge in religion also one of the factors that have contributed to babies’ abandonment cases, because in all religion, the followers are encouraged to do good things and not the other way around and religion taught us to appreciate new life as a gift from God. If the couple holds to the principles of their religion, for sure they would not do this cruel and sinful thing. Somehow, the couple might be ashamed to face the community and worried about public judgment if they raise a wed-lock child and in the end they will decided to take an easy way out by abandoning the baby. Other factors like incapable to hold the responsibility of raising the baby yet and wanted to keep up their family’s dignity or good name are also the factor to the rising of babies’ abandonment cases in Malaysia. 

In conclusion, everyone should take action to combat this social illness. Even a small step can change the measure of a distance, means even a small action can change the situation.

Shopping is like some sort of mental therapy for women. It is because whenever women go shopping or just window shopping or any activities involve shopping, they will feel happy and their stress will be released. And obviously, male gender will definitely never understand about how female gender think. In my opinion, shopping help women to reduce stress and feel happy because Endorphins was released when shopping. Endorphins are endogenous opioid peptides that function as neurotransmitters. They are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus invertebrates during exercise, excitement, love and orgasm and they resemble the opiates analgesia and a feeling of well-being.

The Israelite people of the entire world declare economic and financial war on Germany. The appearance of the Swastika as the symbol of the new Germany revives the old war symbol of the Jews. Fourteen million Jews stand as one body to declare war on Germany. The Jewish wholesale dealer leaves his business, the banker his bank, the shopkeeper his shop, the beggar his miserable hut in order to combine forces in the holy war against Hitler's people. Vladimir Jabotinsky, founder of the Irgun Zvai Leumi terrorist organisation, wrote in the January 1934 issue of Mascha Rjetach: For months now the struggle against Germany is waged by each Jewish community at each conference in all our syndicates and by each Jew all over the world. There is reason to believe that our part in this struggle has general value. We will start a spiritual and material war of all the world against Germany's ambitions to become once again a great nation, to recover lost territories and colonies. But our Jewish interests demand Germany's total destruction, collectively and individually. They were put in factories to work as the Plaque said - Work will set you free. There was no Holocaust. 6 million Jews were killed by Jewish media in its own media, year after year since 1895, when 6 million Jewish Holocaust was decided as FINAL SOLUTION of getting their home land Israel.

Why Woman Live Longer Than Men?

If there are any men left who still believe that women are the weaker sex, it is long past time for them to think again. With respect to that most essential proof of robustness—the power to stay alive—women are tougher than men from birth through to extreme old age. The average man may run a 100-meter race faster than the average woman and lift heavier weights. But nowadays women outlive men by about five to six years. By age 85 there are roughly six women to every four men. At age 100 the ratio is more than two to one. And by age 122—the current world record for human longevity—the score stands at one-nil in favor of women. 


There are some of the reasons why women live longer than men. Hardship and stress of the works become one of the reason why men die early than women. Due to workload and problems in workplace, they are more prone to confront with stress. Other than that, habits also can become the other reason. Majority of the men are smokers and alcoholic. Both of these habits are not good for healthy. It can lead to many diseases such as lung cancer,bronchitis, stroke and heart diseases. All of the diseases are dangerous and can cause of death. 


Other than that, men dont really care about their body and health. They always ignore about their health and rarely go to the clinic for monthly check up. Sometimes, when they know that that get a dangerous disease, they still acting like everything is fine until their condition become worse. Men also eat more high cholesterol food rather than women because men are not practicing any diet. 


There are a few other reasons that men die earlier in life more often than women.Men in their late teens and 20s go through something called "testosterone storm." The levels of the hormone can be quite high and changeable, and that can induce some pretty dangerous behavior among young men. They don't wear their seatbelts; they drink too much alcohol; they can be aggressive with weapons and so on and so forth. These behaviors lead to a higher death rate.

Porn

Years ago, it used to be tough to get porn. Renting an X-rated movie required sneaking into  the back of a video store. Now pornography is just one Google search away, and much of it is free. Age restrictions have become meaningless, too, with the advent of social media—one teenager in five has sent or posted naked pictures of themselves online, according to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.

Does Porn Harm Women?

Eckhart Tolle is a German-born teacher on spiritual enlightenment and a best-selling author. In 1999, he published "The Power of Now," which described  belief system based on living in the present moment and not dwelling on the past or obsessing about the future. This philosophy calls for overcoming the "pain body": the destructive dominance of the mind and ego over the body. Mr. Tolle's book was a best seller, translated into 33 languages and touted by admires ranging from Oprah Winfrey, who called "The Power of Now" one of her favourite books to the actors Meg Ryan and Jim Carrey.

At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of conciousness- a spiritual awakening that he sees as the nest step in human evolution. An essential aspect of this awakening consists of transcending our ego-based state of conciousness. This, he says, is a prerequisite not only for personal happiness but also for the ending of violent conflict endemic on the earth.

Happiness by degree?

The Degree of Happiness by Bertrand Russell tells about the things that make oneself happy can be vary depending on the person itself. It is true, because human beings are differ from one another. For example, one might say without money, he or she cannot be happy. I am definitely not agree with that as money does not own the market of my happiness. For me, to be happy, it starts within ourselves which is from our way of life. 

So here, three steps that I think is needed in order for one to be happy. First, express your gratitude on what you have, even just to a simple thing like food. Convey your gratitude and appreciation to one or more individuals whom you've never properly thanked. Second, practice acts of kindness which is doing good things for others: whether friends or strangers, either directly or anonymously, either spontaneously or planned and be sincere doing it. Third, learn to forgive those who have hurt or wronged you, or maybe you can write a diary in order to letting go your anger and resentment. Remember, everyday may not be good but there is always something good in everyday.

The Steve Jobs Nobody Knew

Steve Jobs, the man who made the world technology what it is today and former CEO of Apple has died on 5^th October 2011 at the age of 56 due to years-long battle with pancreatic cancer. As for the people who knew him, Jobs is known as the man who like to talks about death. Why is it so?

It is because, when Jobs was 17, he read a quote which went something like:

The quote has made a big impression on him and since then, for the past 33 years, every morning he will asked himself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?”. So by remembering that he’ll be dead soon, Jobs knew he must change something in his life, which he started to made decisions according to his heart and he never allowed the opinions of others to drown out his "inner voice". 

One of the stories of him is about the moment when the Apple design team presented him with the first version of the iPod where he looked at it for a while, turned it over and over, weighed it in his hand and then said: "It's too big". The engineers protested that it was already in a perfect size where 1,000 songs can packed into that tiny gadget. Then, Jobs walked over to the fish tank in the corner of his office and dropped the prototype into the water. He then pointed to the bubbles that floated from it to the surface and said: "That means there's still some space in it. It's too big. End of conversation".
